Can anyone recommend a cranial osteopath for my 4 month old?

I'm in Epsom, but could travel to one.

Any recommendations? (And miracle cures of screaming babies?!)

If London is possible I saw Simon Prideaux who was really great but ££.

There is also a clinic in Wandsworth here where you pay what you can afford and see a cranial osteopath in training. I think suggested donation is £30.00.

Yes :-) the London school of Osteopath's have a baby clinic - they're fab, final year students exams kinda thing.

Dr Philip deport in ewell. He's a chiropractor, not a cranial osteopath, but uses similar techniques and is fantastic.

I also saw Simon prideaux in west London at his baby clinic at The Westover. My screaming ds4 age 6 weeks (who screamed and cried inconsolably from 8-12am every night) stopped the screaming and crying the next day (though wouldn't really sleep well) and after the next appointment started settling by 8-9. After the second appt Simon said not to bring him back anymore as he had helped the tension and didn't think he needed another session. I saw him with the breast feeding specialist (they work together) and on my 4th ds didn't think I needed any bf advice. She gave me a couple of very small tips to improve the hold which helped with his wind considerably.

And dr delport really helped ds when he was sleeping v badly again.

it's pretty far, but i'd recommend Stuart Korth. He's based in Tunbridge Wells, but also has a clinic in London iirc...

he's amazing.

Maris Practice on Twickenham. Really great people.

Sheshelob · 24/10/2013 22:43

It is also in Twickenham.

Another vote for simon Prideaux. He helped my DD after her traumatic birth - a few sessions with him and she was a different baby!

bumpandkind · 26/10/2013 11:34

A bit of a schlep but Elaine (sorry I can't remember her second name) at th Dulwich therapy rooms worked wonders on my 4 m Ds. From the very first appt he went from waking all night to just once or twice. He is also noticeably calmer in the day. Only needed 3 sessions.

Gillian Lonsdale at Kingston Natural Health Centre is fantastic.

We saw Tracey Cambridge in East Grinstead as DD has a crick in her neck and could only really turn her head one way! We only had the one session as it was resolved fairly quickly!
