My 11mth old is the same, despite eating his weight in food all day. Unfortunately she is prob doing it for comfort, there is a huge developmental leap around now that can really affect sleep and sometimes the only way for baby to get back to sleep is to nurse. My ds1 was exactly the same at around 11mths so I was kinda expecting it this time around and waddya know? I'm just riding it out, you may have to too (sorry, not what you want hear), this too shall pass!!

P.s. Google wonder week 55, prob what you're dealing with

I was about to suggest googling wonder week 55! My dd2 is 1yo tomorrow and the descriptions of ww55 fit very closely with her behaviour of late. It mentions increased bf for comfort and the closeness to mum, plus clinginess, poor appetite and sleep, tantrums and jealousy - dd2 now looks a bit disgruntled when ds1 cuddles me, and she instantly toddles over to climb onto my lap. Keep telling yourself, it is a phase - it will pass!
