How to deal with dd's biting?

Dd is 2.8 and has recently started biting (and trying to on a number of occasions) me, dp, and dd2 (7mo). We have just introduced the naughty step/time out as dd is constantly ignoring us, she also gets herself worked up into a silly mood and we have found the step good for calming her down.

Whilst returning her to the naughty step today dd tried to bite me several times to which I put her in her bedroom (she was kind of snapping at me with her teeth and at this point walking away doesn't work). Now she has just bitten her sister thankfully not badly. I just don't know how to deal with it. Any suggestions?

I had this with ds when he was that age, my health visitor gave me a Thomas the tank engine sticker chart(his fave at the time) I showed him what it was and explained that every day he didn't bite he would get a 3 stickers 1 for the morning 1 for the afternoon and the big sticker at bedtime, Hv said rewarding him for being good is better than having to punish him for being naughty, Smile
