I have combi fed my DS since he turned 2 months old & 2 months ago decided to stop BF. My reasons were caving in to family pressure to try to improve his night sleeping - I know I'm a wimp !( I was bfeeding him during night only from 4 months on ),but this has backfired as a month down the line he is still waking a lot for bottles. I am a lazy git & wish I hadn't stopped BF,now,as it was much easier for night feeds. More importantly,I also really missed BF my wee man...Anyhow I'm currently trying to relactate, but am confused -as he is 8 months,do I still need to express around the clock I only want to bf at night ( I have tried him during the day,but he's too distracted !) After 1 week of trying to express,I can now get 1 oz,in morn & evening & instead of bottle feeding him twice at night, this has reduced to 1 & BF for rest ( he gets frustrated at around 5,as there's not enough milk by then,so I BF). Has anyone had a similar experience ? Advice greatly appreciated.

missis nothing helpful to suggest except to try asking for this thread to be moved or reposting in the breast and bottle feeding forum where you might get more traffic and advice from breastfeeding experts.

Ah,I didn't realise there was a BF forum !! Duh ! I shall do so, thanx. ( I am taking fenugreek capsules) & I'll check out Kellymom. Thanx for advice.
