Hi
used to have a good routine in place for my 3.4yr and 4.9yr old boys but since they started back school every things gone to pot. I have tantrums and fighting every morning and then more when they come home. I can understand things have changed at home ( Im now a student and just started working part time 2 evenings a week) and they must be feeling unsettled but really need to get things back on track. My youngest isn't sleeping at night properly and I have the school complaining cause he falls asleep there, and my oldest is getting aggressive towards me and his brother. I feel like I'm fighting a loosing battle everyday all day and I don't think I can keep going much longer without something changing. I want my happy little boys back asap, I'd be grateful for any advice

Is it the 3y/o first time at school? And your 4/9yo first time full time? They have to do a lot of cognitive development at that age and are probably establishing how they feel about school and how they relate to it in general which is why they are kicking off at home- they know what happens at home if they're 'naughty' but not so sure at school.
Also, LOADS of children at 3.4y/o fall asleep in class- let's remember that a lot of children this age would be in private nurseries and have a scheduled nap time- if school are getting shirty then just gently remind them that I have pairs of pants older than your youngest son!
The best thing I would recommend you try though, even if it means you have to get up earlier is bringing their bedtime forward and getting them in it earlier- at least you might have the chance of the youngest getting an extra hours sleep.

Good luck x
