Blowing rasberries!

Hi all, this may seem quite silly to some of you but I am genuinely concerned (first time mum, over worried and a Virgo!), my mother in law loves blowing BIG rasberries on my sons belly button, the problem is he is 10 weeks old and gets quite scard initially shaking his arms in the air when she does it after which I try and make him laugh so he forgets! I've tried telling her but she thinks he loves it! My question is, this can't harm him can it? I'm sorry if it sounds silly, but wanted to check, thank you.

It always made my son laugh. But what you are seeing is the 'startle response' which is perfectly normal.

If he doesn't cry, I'm sure he's fine.

And, no, it won't harm in anyway.
