Ringworm and Conjunctivitis at the same time

Our 3yo has had ring worm the last week (inner/crook of both elbows but nowhere else) and today has conjunctivitis. Are they related in any way? I cant find anything on line saying they are but seems odd to me for her to have both at the same time. I was assuming both were viral (she was sniffly last night as well) so is it just that time of year? Or if she has two viruses at the same time does this suggest she's got a low immune system at the moment? Or should we put both of these down to her being revoltingly dirty? Had sssumed they were viral but it's possible they are bacterial I guess..?

Ringworm is fungal. It is athletes foot not on your foot.

Conjunctivitis can have various causes. If your DD is sniffly she has probably rubbed snot into her eye.

Yes that's exactly what I thought about the riung worm - the cream to use is the exact same one you use for athlete's foot (and candida). I suspected this would be the case before we went to get the cream. However when i get athlete's foot I put cream on it straight away, and the althletes foot dissapears over night or at least within 24 hours. LO has had this thing for three weeks now. It is finally getting better this week, and had turned to very small red patches from huge rings, but it's taking ages to go. Her conjunctivitis only lasted 2 days, thankfully.

Update - it wasnt ringworm after all, hence the longevity. After a visit to the GP it turned out it is probably allergic eczema, possibly riggrered by a virus. Hydrocortisone cream has almost cured it after 3 applications.
