DS just got 2 bottom teeth how long brush for

Hi everyone,

My ds has just got his 2 bottom teeth now (6months) and was wondering for how long to brush them?? Surely not for the 3 minutes they say to brush when you have all your teeth????

I just gave my dd's first few teeth a good scrub on all sides, probably never took more than 30 secs

Oh good, I was trying to drag it out, but it never takes very long.

We started singing a song and brush for the length of a song, one two three four five once I caught a fish alive...etc is quite a good song to brush to as it times out at about 5 brushes each area once they have all the teeth.
By getting into the habit of brushing to the song when dd started to get to the point of not letting us brush she knew how long it was going to take and what to expect.
Certainly not 3mins, we don't even brush for 3mins, our electronic toothbrush only goes for 2mins.
