Not sure if I'm posting in the right place but please can someone help?

My 15 month old girl has had diarrhoea off and on for a few days now, she was antibiotics last week so have put it down to that as she had a chest infection. She still has a bit of a cold and isn't sleeping great which is very unlike her but apart from that she is fine in herself.

Can anyone advise what kind of foods I should avoid or go out and buy to try and help the diarrhoea stop? She is not dehydrated as is drinking plenty of water and is still having just wet nappies.

Thanks in advance for any help!!

Xx

Let her eat what she wants and keep up the fluids. My ds is home today with the same thing. So far he's had some toast, milk and raisins which is what he fancied. If you're still concerned then see a dr.

Follow a BRAT diet with diarrhea. Banana rice apple toast.

Some young children can develop a lactose intolerance for a week or two after having an infection. Very temporary but could maybe try cutting down on dairy until it clears up, maybe buy a lacto free milk if you're worried about her not having enough.
