Help - bit long - Sorry

ds is nearly 4 and his behaviour at the moment is horrendous towards his little sister (16months old). Hitting, pushing over and then kicking her on the floor, taking toys off her etc, really quite nasty stuff. I can't take my eyes off him. I try to do all the 'right' things discipline wise whilst also showing love but I'm at a loss.

Add into the mix that he has a meltdown at the moment about everything e.g. putting shoes on, if I walk 'too' far ahead of him, don't get him a drink the moment he asks for it.... I ignore this when I can but it's not always possible.

Plus when we go anywhere he is incredibly clingy, he wants me to stay at nursery, won't leave my side at a party to the point of not joining in with other children at all.

He hasn't always been like this it is really only in the past 3 months or so. I have tried to talk to him and he tells me he is angry. I'm pretty sure it is a potent mix of testosterone and jealousy.

Advice welcome or just come and commiserate with me..

I had aggression problems when my dd was tired, she used to beat on my 12 yr old dd.. till I cut then both (only fair) back on sweets and sugar, transformation in a couple of days.
