not sure where to post... so trying here.

I got a big girls' bed for DD2 (almost 3). Are there any recommendations re the tog of the duvet for young children?

The 13.5 that are in the shops seem rather thick and heavy to me Hmm

Im quite sure its meant to be a 4.5 tog until theyre bigger and youre meant to use blankets to top up if its cold.I know dunelm do these. You can get a 10.5 but i think these are only ok for older children.

The white company only sell them in 3tog for cot beds, and then up to 7.5 tog for regular single for children. So I would assume you want a lower tog ie 4.5 duvet.

It's best to layer up with warm pjs if colder rather than heavier duvets at this age. Ie add long sleeve vest under if cold in winter and slipper socks.
