Argggghhhh can anyone help me???How do you sto a two year old from constantly screaming???

Hellp meee pleassee my two year old son will not stop screaming we have tried ignoring distracting etc this si not working the little s*d just keeps going on and off for up to two hours at a time my eardrums are begining to buckle which is not such a bad thing given the circumstances!!!

Is he ill? Could be an ear infection?

or molars coming through

Seriously though i dont actually now how many teeth he should have?/

Take him to the GP. I wouldn't just ignore two hours of screaming.

Thanks for the advice guys but i am definate that this little guy is not in any pain it is just pure temper as soon as you pick him up it stops like flicking a switch!!

Have you asked your HV about it? I don't want to bang on, but I do find the idea of a well child screaming for two hours at a time rather strange.

Temper or not it is not normal for a child to scream for two hours solid I would mention it to the HV or Gp. If they rule out ny medical problems they maybe able to offer you some help and support to get through this very difficult phase.

20 teeth isn't it? They come through in sets of 4 after all.

does he do this a lot or just today?

have you had his hearing checked. Does he communicate in other ways or is screaming it I ask because I know a 2year old whos only method of communication is screaming.I can sympathise.
