5 year olds and boybands...?

hello lovely mums,
hoping for a bit of help and advice.
my little 5yo girl Letty has some friends who have become super keen on a variety of different boybands - One Direction (obvs!), and the Jonas Brothers...
i feel a bit uneasy about her being so attached to boybands at such an early ago - but am i being silly?!
Would your 5 year old also be sad if they were to split up?!
Please help!

My dd has loved 1D since she was 5 yrs. I too was very surprised it was such a young age to be into these things but never have encouraged her - they play music at school and she's influenced by older girls.

She'll happily sit her room kissing pictures of Harry Styles

I'm sure she'd be quite upset if they split up (momentarily!).
