black bits in nappy?

hi, DD just done big poop and there was lots of black 'stringy' bits in it, about 0.5-1cm long I suppose.

are they worms?? they weren't moving. Confused

That may well be it. I don't know why, but bananas coming out of the digestion process seem to create these wee black strings. Keep an eye to make sure it isn't anything else, and I hope someone else confirms this (mine have been out of nappies a few years) but I do seem to remember this.

there did seem to be a tiny dot of blood on the wipe when I wiped her bum..is that normal too with bananas?

Kiwi fruit seeds don't digest so expect tiny black dots.

Sweet corn and peas go in and out the same
