Hi. Bit of background - son is 6mo next week, diagnosed with CMA through breast milk at 8wks, I went dairy free for 10 weeks but as he was still reacting to things (even when I'd also cut out soya, fish and eggs) he has been on Neocate for the last 7 weeks.
Here's where you need to have not eaten before reading: I'm worried about his poos. Since he was born they have been liquid, literally no thicker than double cream. This was put down to the dairy allergy, but even after being on Neocate for the last 7 weeks they are still completely liquid, to the point where I have to mop him up with toilet paper before even bothering with wipes because none of it is absorbed by the nappy or is solid enough to stay where it's been deposited - it just explodes in all directions and actually drips off of him!
I've mentioned this to all doctors, HV's and paeds that we've seen and they are basically happy that he isn't constipated rather than looking into why he has had what is essentially diaorehea (sorry, can't spell that) every single day of his life.
Does this sound normal to anyone (if you have managed to get this far!)?
