Hi all

My DD has one or two nasty looking red pimples; on her chin and cheek. Her skin is also not as clear in general as it normally is (she's very fair).

She's had nappy rash on and off for a few weeks (although I think this is down to tesco nappies!)

I started giving her 1 -2oz of cows milk mixed into her bottles (3 x 5oz bottles in total) a couple of weeks ago and the spots started roughly with the increase from 1 to 2oz. She is otherwise fine and has had dairy products and cows milk in food for ages.

The only other food stuff shes had more of than usual is marmite...

Has anyone had this happen? Or should I put it down to the fact she's teething?

Many thanks

Doesn't sound particularly like allergy to me (I have a DS with allergies) but does sound like it could be a teething rash. Some children dribble a lot more when they are teething, and so get slight rashes on their faces as well as their bottoms.

Still, keep an eye on it.

Does she get congested after feeding, with 'wet' chesty breathing? That can be a sign of CMA.
