Anybody else been prescribed phrnergan for lo

My little one is just over 10 months old and been prescribed phenergen elixir to help aid his sleep....he's such a tired little man and sometimes impossible to shut down my lo wakes up anything from 8 to 15 times a night anybody else been thru this xx

Did your gp indicate how many nights in a row you can use it for? How did it go last night? What other sleep solutions have you tried? Is he demanding milk at night? Are you bf him at night? You must be exhausted!

We've tried various sleep training methods but no joy he's put him on it as a 2 week trial until we see him in clinc....no I don't bf and yes he still demands nite feeds we have tried without feeds but they seem to make him worse....x

Dd is on it..we are allowed 2 to 3 times a week..it helps. .sometimes works well (she is awake 4 hours a night) and sometimes.just takes edge off. It is definitely a good thing though.

How old is your one I keep reading horror stories :-(

She is 6. Really don't worry about it..it's just an antihistamine...your LO will be on a much smaller dose than mine..it will be safe :) haven't had any side effects
