Grobag in toddler bed?

hi, I need to move my 18 month old into a toddler bed soon as his little sister needs the cot. Has anyone left their little ones in gro bags when they have moved to a bed? He loves his sleeping bags and even has one for daytime naps, it is really difficult to get him to sleep with a blanket on and he always wriggles out of it. Thanks

Yes did this, had no issues. DCs loved their gro bags and think we used them until 2.5ish.

We did this for a while as DD1 transitioned to a bed. It was fine. No reason why it would be a problem is there?

Thanks, i suppose i was just worried that he might fall trying to get out of bed in it. Probably overthinking things as usual

As long as it's a normal height bed and not a cabin bed, he should be fine. DD2 can shuffle walk round the room in her gro bag. She looks like yoda! I'm sure he'll work out what movement he can do. TBH, I'd be more worried about the attempts DD2 makes to climb out the cot in the gro bag than her getting out the toddler bed (not that I am moving her until the end of time she seems less likely to go off on night time adventures)
