Hi

When do babies start to enjoy having time on these in your experience? I can't seem to find any guidance online ...

Thanks

Effe

I think we got one when DD was about 6weeks old, we used it a lot she just laid on it for a long time but in time she started batting the toys on it. We put it away when she started rolling at about 6 months old. Smile

At 2 months I think

4/5 weeks with a sheepskin on base. Very cosy

6-8 weeks when it started to look like they were enjoying being there! Bored of it by 5 months though.

Mine never did. She wasn't happy unless she was upright and able to see what was going on elsewhere.

Dd1 and dd2 both suddenly loved the baby gym having shown no interest. Unfortunately for both of them this was when I got the gym out for the next baby, so they were both 3yo, a bit late. Grin

To my surprise, ds loved it from day 1. He loved to lie underneath it and bat at the things. We told people he was practicing his overarm serve for tennis. He'd lie under it cooing and batting at it for up to half an hour-issue a couple of squawks and then fall asleep.

From a couple of months until at least 6 months.
DD is 6mo and she still loves it. Can't remember when DS stopped using it.
