Interpreting 3 year olds

Tonight DS has come out with:

"My ears are following my attention" and "my mouth isn't going in the right direction"

We think we have got to the bottom of it, but any of you feel like having a go at interpreting????

Listening and speaking? Difficulty communicating? Ooh - frowning not smiling?
Who knows?!

I'm speaking before I think?

My 3 yo DS has been saying "Let's talk about no spaces" for the past week. I assume he means talking without stopping because he then proceeds to chatter for a good 5 minutes without taking even a breath.

OP, sorry, can't help. But aren't they cute?

Ah some replies appeared after I went to bed!

We eventually established he is coming down with a cold and his ears are bunged up and his throat is a bit sore!

He cracks me up every time
