3 month old & arm movement

Hi

My 3 month old seems to have alot of tension around the upper arm/shoulder area. Is this normal?

For example, when bathing her, it's a battle to get to her armpits, as she just won't relax her arm! Hmm

Ds is about the same age and is exactly the same. He is completely chilled out in the bath- you can float him just supporting his head but the arms are clamped in and the fists bunched. We joke that someone told him there were finger munching piranhas in there. We can get one out at a time now with a little persuasion but I believe it is just a natural response. I just give his armpits a little wipe on a morning too after I have used the flannel on his face. It's only really fluff that lives in there anyway...

Boarding, good to hear its not only mine like that! Mine has dried milk under the armpits, the little stinker Wink
