My 13month old DS keeps headbutting the floor or wall. He used to only do it occassionally and normally when he wasn't allowed something so thoiught it was a temper thing. But this last week he's started doing it all the time and doesn't really seem to be in a temper.
He is doing it very hard and very frequently.
I'm not sure what I'm asking really but doesn't seem like normal behaviour.
Anybody had experience of something like this?

no personal experience but I have had at least 2 friends whose DC did this at probably about your son's age or a bit older. they grew out of it and no harm done. so I'd guess it's pretty normal.

my ds did this & I can happily report it was just a passing phase!

My 13 mo ds does this. I've put it down to teething and trying to displace the pain. Sad

Thank you for reassurance everyone. Glad to see DS isn't the only one headbutting everything!
