Hi
My 3 year-old, goes through spells where his right foot points inwards. it is on and off and has only become really noticebable in the last few days. we bought him a new pair of trainers at the start of the week which are slightly too big this week - could this be part of the issue?

I've read that if it's in-toeing he should grow out of it - but still worried.

Sounds like it may just be adjusting to the new shoes. See if he does it when not wearing the shoes, or when wearing other shoes that are already broken in.

If it's just that the new shoes are a little too big, you might try putting a little toilet tissue or cotton balls down at the toe end so the shoe doesn't wiggle around his feet when he's walking.

thanks! spoke to HV and she said it's quite normal at this stage and to keep an eye on it
