4 month sleep regression

My 4.5 month old has over the last 2 weeks gone from sleeping to NOT - day or night. She sleeps for Max 20 mins during the day x 3, it takes aaaaages fgorme to get her to sleep and then she wakes straight up again. Nighttimes start off OK till 11ish and then its downhill.

I'm in a vile state as so overyired. I have a 2.5 year old so can't cope.

Any suggestions??

No suggestions I'm afraid but I know how you feel. My DS slept 7-7 from 10 weeks old but as soon as he hit four months he would wake all night! Sometimes only sleeping 10 minutes at a time. It does pass although it seems it goes on forever

Rebecca75 · 30/08/2013 18:08

Did it pass on its own?

Hi yes it passed on it's own. I didn't bother with sleep training as I knew he could sleep through. Just wasn't at the time

Sometimes it passes, sometimes it doesn't. For my now 2year old, it never passed. Sad

No advice butv sympathy OP as my 19 week old is the same and has been for the last few weeks! From birth until a few weeks ago she was doing stretches of 6-7 hours at night, now she's up every 1-2 hours and resists all naps during the day. I am a zombie. Just hoping it passes soon before I lose my mind completely (have 2 older dc too).

No answers but lots of sympathy. My 16 week old boy doing the same. Overtired really quickly, resisting naps, lots of agitation and crying before going to sleep.

Last night was vaguely better in that he did two 90min sleeps between 8pm and 7am. Other than that it was sleep for 45 min, feed lots and back to sleep. We are co-sleeping some of the night. When it gets to 4am I give up with the cot!

I'm putting him in sling during day and he will sleep in it as long as we keep walking/moving. So no catch up naps for me.

We're on week 2 of this. My MIL coming to stay today to help out because I'm a bit deranged!

Hope u
