2yo dd won't stop touching her ' you know what'

Bit of a funny one but dd won't stop putting her hands in her nappy, at home, in public, around friends house, everywhere. At first it was funny but now she does it all the time and she will start nursery in September and I'm a little concerned. I do say to her not here darling and remove her hand from her nappy. I've also tried ignoring it but she still does it anyway. I'm not really sure what to do, I thought only boys did this lol.

It's totally normal, I'd just ignore it. It's her's to touch if she likes and she's most likely to young to understand any reasoning why she can't.

ps. if you want to stop her just put her in a vest with poppers

i would only be concerned if she looked like she was scratching- ie a UTI or something

i always tell mine they can do that in their bedrooms as it is private, and by the time they were 3ish, they generally did

DS (also 2) had this problem. I tell him to he can touch it as much as he likes when he's in the bath, but not now. He's loads better than he was a month ago. I only tell him once or twice a day now.

Thank you all for your replies. I didn't want to make it am issue at all because it's all discovery and this age etc but it's just a little awkward when she says out loud look at 'pepe' (it's what she calls it lol) no matter what I put her in she finds a way lol. I guess I will try the bedroom and bath thing. It's not wrong its just like I said awkward lol
