Does anyone else's child shake when excited/overwhelmed?

My 21 month old daughter literally shakes when she gets excited or overwhelmed. She's always done it occasionally but not to the extent she does now.
She has started to do it more since new baby has arrived (now 11 weeks old) she will try to talk, play or tickle baby and she just starts shaking, she looks angry but she's not she's just trying to play.
We are always telling her to be careful and gentle towards the baby because she can be a bit rough without realizing it.

I've now had friends and family laugh and comment on her behavior and I don't know what to do or say about it as I've never known behavior like it before.

Has anyone else experienced this??

My 19mo does occasionally - the other day she woke up from her nap and her nan magically appeared in her room, she was so excited she started shaking.

Thank goodness for this thread. DS does this too so it's reassuring to know he's not the only one.

Oh so she's not the only one!
Thank you it is reassuring Smile

DS does this, although it seems entirely voluntary, and he seems to do it now at 2.5 more as a result of the "oh, look at that, he's so funny" comments he's had, rather than a reflex/reaction. He doesn't do it so much at home any more (we tell him to stop/don't react). He has also replaced this with a lot of jumping/bouncing, recently.

He did it from birth (and I'm convinced I felt it when I was pg too!). No sign of SN so far.
