2 year old meltdowns about clothes going over her head - help please!

My 2 and a half year old dd is having meltdowns about getting dressed and undressed due to not wanting anything pulled over her head. She says we pull her hair, but we don't. Unfortunately she had one incident a few weeks ago when a tight top got a bit stuck on her head, so her hair may have been pulled a bit to get it on, and I think it has frightened her. But now half her wardrobe is out because it's vaguely tight, and the looser clothes still have to go over her head. If she feels it on her head she pulls and that often makes it get stuck, so making the problem worse. Not sure how to get passed this one!

Our DD is like this. Sometimes I distract "what should we sing whilst getting dressed" or sometimes I let her step into tops that button at the back.

Otherwise just do it quickly? This will pass!
