My 2 yo dd shouting "don't hit me" when playing on her own

I've not noticed this myself, but my nanny (who comes just one day a week) said it happened twice today. I have twin dds who are 28 months and I am with every day bar one.
Apparently, they were playing separately in the same room and one twin starting screaming "Don't hit me! Don't hit me!" And was crying for a long while after. It sounded like she was saying it to her twin - but her twin was at the other end of the room minding her own business at the time.
The girls generally get on very well. A bit of sibling/toddler fighting but nothing that has concerned me.
Is this normal? Any thoughts?

Did your nanny ask her what it was about - or could you?

Could she have been playing a game? Reinacting something she's seen? dd2 reinacts cartoons or possibly just trying to get DT in trouble?

Doesn't sound sinister to me. She could have picked it up from a playgroup or something.
