dd2 is now almost 4years old. she has never told a lie in her life. untill today. she bit dd1 on the back, then when i asked her if she did it, (i saw her do it) she said NO. i was a bit shocked to say the least. dd2 has always told the truth, wouldnt even lie to get herself out of trouble. (did you just push your baby sister over?' 'yes').

there has been questions marks about dd2 for ages (ASD? behaviour problems etc), but for to lie is a big deal. of course i told her it was wrong, but we may be making some headway.

i am useless at explaining myself, but some will know what i mean.

I know what you mean. :) I think it's supposed to be the start of theory of mind developing, ie dd2 now realises you don't know everything that she does.

Ds1 still can't seem to lie even when he knows he will be in trouble.

Me: Why is crying?

Ds1: Because I hit him.
