Potty training regression...help!

My dd is two years and four months. Has been using the potty once or twice every day for a couple of weeks, very positive, likes her reward chart, been very positive (in pull ups). My plan was to go to knickers and potty all day next week but she now seems to have lost interest and gets upset every time I mention the potty. Last night she clearly needed a wee when she got out of the bath, I asked her if she wanted the potty and she said no and then she weed on her towel. Do I give up and wait a few weeks or still try and potty train properly next week and see what happens. I can't understand why she suddenly hates her potty! So frustrating as she was doing so well.

Oh please wait and try again when she's really really ready - she will let you know. I can't tell you how relieved I am that (through laziness on my part mainly) I waited until DD initiated it at 2.6 and she potty trained herself in three days flat - totally dry. SO glad I waited. She's made it so easy for us.

my grandaughter never wanted to go to the toilet but i played a game of pretending her wee wee was hiding and I used to look all over the bathroom. It worked and dont worry too much about regression. she'll come to it in the end.
