Dry but not dry - help!

DD is 3 this week.

She's been potty trained for a few months, at the point where I don't need to ask, she'll tell me when she needs the loo.

But .... the past couple of weeks every time we get to the loo, her knickers are wet. Not just a little spot, wet enough to need a new pair, almost every time.

So I think she's waiting until a little bit comes out before she tells me/goes on her own.

I've tried explaining that she needs to go to the loo before the wee comes out, tried a star chart and lots of praise for getting it right, tried getting cross, tried 'never mind'. I'm at the end of my tether, so tomorrow we're going right back to the start and I'm putting her on the potty every hour.

Anyone been through this? Any advice?

Thank you Flowers!

Forgot to add - she's just started nursery and manages to keep her knickers dry there.

Your doing the right thing, DS did exactly the same after 10months of being dry.
I started back to basics taking him to the toilet every 15 mins, he soon got bored of me taking him away from his toys to go to the toilet and 3 days later he was dry again

Thank you lollipoppi, that's the plan :)

I've also said dd can start the day in colourful knickers, but it's plain white ones thereafter.

can you watch the time pattern and may be 10 mins or so beforehand take her to the loo to find the wee wee. sit her on loo or potty and hunt around looking for hiding places. in the end they go. bbbiiiigggg surprise form you praise and laughter.
