HI, My 7 year old daughter hates sleeping in her owne bed and never stays in there on her own, if we put a tv on for her she will just stay up all night watching it. She wont go to her own bed unless she is asleep already on the couch and then we wake her so she is half asleep and doesnt realise it, but she will always come into our bed then half way through the night. has anyone else had or got the same issues and has anyone any tips on getting her to stay in her own bed

A supernanny style bedtime routine :-)

No tv either.

I would love to be able to do the supernanny thing, but there has been a couple of nights where I have woken up with her in the bed, and didn't wake when she came in. I will try it though.

Go for it abs2507! You know it will make sense. Put a bell on your bedroom door to wake you up if she comes in. It'll probably be hard for a couple of nights but soooo rewarding when she gets into the routine.

Explain to her that we all get worried about things sometimes, it's OK to get worried but we have to show the 'worry bully' it can't win.
