7 week old wont sleep

I am at a loss, my 7 week old fights sleep so much. She tends to sleep from 10pm until 3am when she wakes for a feed and then goes back to sleep till about 6. That in itself is fine but she just wont nap in the day and refuses to sleep before 10pm at night.
Today she woke at 6, i tried to get her to sleep around 9 but she kept dozing and then waking herself up, this went on until.around one when she finally slept until about 3 but she woke up a few times in the 2 hours and needed to be settled back off. She then slept for about 20 mins at 6pm and is still awake now, again dozing and then waking herself up. I just dont know how to get her to sleep. I have tried rocking in my arms, putting her in the pram, moses basket, dark and quiet room. I also have a toddler so i really need to be able to put her down to sleep so i can seeto him while she sleeps. She is settled most of the time, cries after a bit but settles when picked up so she doesnt seem to be uncomfortable at all, just wont sleep. Any suggestions?

White noise. You can download it as an app. 9 times out of 10 it gets my boy to sleep and keeps him there. A genuine lifesaver.

Hi,
I also have a 7 week old and am finding the exact same thing! I have a Cozy Wrap sling which is currently the only thing I can get her to sleep in during the day apart from my arms! Otherwise she wakes herself up and fights any sort of sleep and gets overtired. I'm hoping this wont last long!!h
Good luck

My son was doing this at 7 weeks. He is now 10 weeks and goes down at 7pm and has 3 proper naps in the day. He was very unsettled around 7/8 weeks.
Hang on in there!

Have you tried swaddling, DD would wake herself up with the startle reflex. Swaddling really helped. We did it until she was 6 months. Smile
