When did your child put on their shoes?

My DD keeps trying to put her shoes on, but can't figure out how to push them on and keeps getting frustrated. I put them on for her, but she takes them off and tries to do it herself. I was just wondering around what age is normal for kids to put them on their own feet, but not necessarily the right foot.

Dd1 puts hers on she is two and a bit. I have no idea what other kids manage to do though!?

My daughter is quite a ways from 2, I guess she'll just have to be patient, maybe I can find some slip on shoes that are easy to put on Grin.

2 and a bit here too, maybe slightly earlier for wellies.

Crocs are easier to slip on and off (for going in & out of the garden, for example), but they don't provide much support if going out for proper walking.

Mine is 2+ 3months. She has absolutely no interest in getting dressed or undressed independently. I secretly like it (because it's a lot quicker and easier to dress a child who isn't trying to help)... But it is hindering her potty training. She's virtually potty trained, except I have to remove her pants before she can take herself to the loo Confused
They are all different.

DD is 17 months, can put her crocs and sandals on. And DS's wellies, shoes and our shoes (I.e. that are far too larger for her.) DS is nearly 4 and can't (wont even try) put anything on except slippers.

By about three mine have been able to put on shoes. From about 18mths to two they could put on crocs and wellies, not always on the right feet :)
