Ds, now 13 months, has had one nearly every day from early on as part of his bedtime routine, plus he enjoys it. We only use soap if he's grubby.

DS is 8 months old and also has one everyday as part of his bedtime routine. He loves it and we've been doing it since about 6 weeks. We don't use soap, we sometimes use aqueous cream if his skin feels a little dry.

DS is 8.5 months but really didn't enjoy baths at all until he could sit up in them properly, he hated lying back in them. He has a bath most nights now but we only did one every 2-3 days while he disliked them so much. Of course we top and tailed carefully if he wasn't having a proper bath. I think if they haven't got especially grubby, or hot and sweaty, and they're not yet crawling around, they really don't need one every day.

Once a week unless she's grubby. DD is almost 10 1/2 months. Been the same since she was born. She gets a good rub down with a baby wipe every night but tbh she just doesn't get dirty enough to warrant a bath most of the time and it would not work with our evening schedules.

Dd is 9m, I bath her daily.

melonribena · 11/08/2013 09:56

From 0-6 mths, ds had one daily. Then he developed eczema so we went to 1 every 4 ish days.
Now he's 12 mths and loves playing in the bath he has one every night. He gets quite filthy from chucking his food around and playing in the garden so it's quite necessary but also part of his bedtime routine!

melonribena · 11/08/2013 09:56

Oh and his eczema cleared up at about 10 mths!

jammiedonut · 12/08/2013 02:02

Every night, but that's part of his bedtime routine. We don't use soap etc unless necessary but because we use olive oil on his dry skin a good soak is necessary to get rid if the smell!
