How do i work out which child is lying. Long story short....started with an xbox controller being snatched. Ended with one child being hurt. Both are saying the other one hit first, and ive stumbled (and fallen flat on my face) into a stalemate situation. HELP

Remove xbox. Send dc to bedroom, unless they share, in which case one to bedroom, one to living room with no telly or other entertainment. Leave both to stew.

They are both stewing now, watching sky news with me Grin but when does this end? Am i expecting too much? And I've already taken away xbox/phone etc in the hope that one will give in, but so far, nothing. They are both sticking to their very different stories.

You might never discover who is lying. My mums disapproving silence was always more powerful than any other technique! Good luck!

Clarina has it. That and your disappointment with both of them.

It'll end when they get bored and wander off. Or when one of them leaves home.

I say I shall just go and check the footage then (the burglar alarm sensor is a camera ;) )

It's worked so far and they confess but I know it won't always work!
