2nd centile baby clothes..

Hi everyone
My dd is 7 weeks and 7lbs 10. Following the 2nd centile.
She wears newborn sized clothes. I was wondering if anyone else has a 2nd centile baby as would be helpful to know what size they were wearing. We're taking her to the US to meet her family in oct so would be good to have some weather appropriate clothes bought while they're still in the shops.
Thank you

My son is 2nd percintle and wears 6-9 months at 13 months. But all shops vary so much and for me - I try not to buy too far in advance anymore. It bugs me he has 1 year old stuff he 'should' fit into that he mightn't wear till Christmas. I do get where you're coming from but you'll want to choose things that youve learnt suit come October. Also my boy was 50th percentile for the first 16 weeks before falling so remember it can all change.

H&m is good for small clothes. Loved there 2-4 months. He was in 3-6 month most places everywhere for ages and ages. Still squeezes in some tops now

My LO is 8 weeks, 7lb 13oz and on 0.4th centile. Currently in newborn clothes, and some 'up to 1 month' clothes. I think she'll be in 0-3 in a couple of weeks. Unless she has a dramatic weight gain, I'm thinking she's going to remain about 3 months behind in clothes. I'm not buying the next size up until ahe's big enough for it, as I'm not sure what age she'll be when she's in 3-6 month clothes.

On the plus side though, we should treasure and cherish our little babies. I still feel like I have a newborn at 8 weeks, and some of my friends are having babies now who still weigh more than my little one!

I wouldn't worry too much.
I found clothes in the US much cheaper (and often nicer!) so just get a few bits and get the rest over there.

Thanks girls :)
It is lovely having a little baby, easy to carry and will get longer out of their Moses baskets and car seats! X

By the time ds1 was 7 weeks he had outgrown his Moses basket, I could no longer carry him in a sling and I was suffering comments about him "not sitting up yet" and having no teeth! Mind you, he did sleep 6+ hours at night from birth. I would have loved a dinky little baby. Vertbaudet have lovely clothes for little babies.
