How do you teach bum wiping?

Sorry for the poo topic but I don't know where else I can ask this question...
My five year old just can't wipe her bottom properly. She comes home every day with skid marks and is often itchy because she's not cleaned herself well enough.

When she's at home she calls me to wipe her. Which is probably part of the problem as I just do it for her. At home we use the toddler wet wipes.

I have tried to tell her the keep wiping until the paper is clean etc but she is always dirty.

Please give me step by step institutions as to how to teach my child to wipe her bottom! Sorry if this is a really stupid question.

Marking place. Ds starts school in a few weeks and I don't want him yelling across the classroom for his teacher to wipe his bottom!

We had this. My dd likes visual instructions, so I printed out this and she soon got the hang of it. I've spent the last year a half trying to stop her from using the word 'butt' Blush, but at least she wipes it herself.

Haha that's brilliant... We live in America so 'butt' is acceptable!

I had an interesting revelation last year when teaching ds1 to wipe, only to discover DH had already taught him to wipe his way...which is different to my way!

That maybe beyond my 3yo even though she's almost 4.

Any other tips?
