16 month old will only go in baby bath

My little girl hates the big bath. A month or two ago we moved her from her baby bath to the normal bath with lots of toys. She like it at first but then after a few nights screamed the place down every time we tried to give her a bath. So, to see if it was bath time in general or the bath that was upsetting her we put her back in the baby bath and she was just fine. Problem is she is like a sardine! Any tips for getting her to like the big bath? Or even if you know where we could get a bath for a toddler that is like a baby bath that would be great. Thanks

I had this with my ds. Finally figured out it wasn't the big bath but the non-slip may he objected too. I guess it felt a bit uncomfortable on his bum! Removed it and he's happy! I shouldn't worry tbh. He was sat in his baby bath until 21 months. We got one from Argos that was bigger so he had plenty of room to splash and kick.

Non slip mat not may.

Have you tried putting the baby bath in the big bath to give her a chance to get used to the new high sides and strange acoustics from a familiar space?

You could be right with the mat theobeandonlyalpha. We have always had the baby bath in the main bath 2tired2bewitty as she splashes so much. I thinks she like lying down on the sloping seat and she can't do that in the big bath.
