Today I took my kids to the park and they had lot's of fun but my 2 year old seemed to be upset I asked her what's wrong but she said nothing and walked away I asked the two older kids if they knew but they had no idea does anyone know why she is upset

Of course not!

My 2yo gets in various and any and all moods for no discernible reason.
As long as she snaps out of it again she's fine.

at least she's not screaming with rage at everything like dd was

She just found out Arsenal lost yesterday?

That's why my husband is upset.

NarkyNamechanger · 05/08/2013 13:08

two-year-olds are sensitive little things, DS had a tantrum the other day because the washing machine finished it's cycle. sometimes they can tell you why, other times not so much. I think pp is right cuddle and distract.

I find this amuses me when it all gets a bit serious

lollipoppi · 05/08/2013 17:10

Tired? Hungry? Bored?
Did she feel left out if the older 2 were playing?

I wouldn't worry too much

No idea but my 19 month old DS spends half his life upset! Today he cried because we were at a friends house who has chickens in the garden, one of the chickens started clucking...DS burst into tears. I don't think there's always a specific reason for it. Sometimes little things unsettle them and they need a lot of reassurance. It's nice that you care so much but you'll drive yourself mad trying to work out the source of every single upset or whinge.
