Hi all

I haven't see a HV since my DD was a week old, we have her 10mo review tomorrow and was just wondering what to expect. They said it would take 45 min.

Not exactly looking forward to it!

Ta!

Usually they weigh, etc and just ask questions if you have any concerns about development.

A questionnaire to complete and return. Or at least that's all I got!

DD is 22 months now and she was last seen by an HV at 6 weeks. Cut backs!

They will ask about development such as can they weight bear, crawl, sit up, pull up, walk etc? It doesn't matter if they're not doing everything just a general idea.

They will offer beads on a string to see if baby has pincer grip.

They will ask if they understand 'no', if they wave bye bye, point, know their name, babble, express displeasure, etc etc

They will ask if baby is eating well, any problems.

It's all good fun really. Baby just gets to play.
