Just that really! I know all babies are different, just interested to see how others are fairing....

Ok actually sleeps from about eleven to five but is then wide awake for a looong time! Generally til her older brother wakes up for the morning Hmm

Terrible. Wakes every two hours. Was doing fine until the heatwave- used to be 4-5 hours at night, a feed, and then another 4 hours. Don't know if it is the heatwave, sleep regression or what!

DoodleAlley · 01/08/2013 09:09

I find with this kind of thing the answer is rarely fathomable!

DS was a shocking sleeper for years. I remember one night he slept well and we ended up repeating every detail that we did that night for ages just in case it yielded another night of good sleep.

Joking aside it's one of the reasons we waited a while before trying for another baby.

7pm -5am (ish). we got to 16 weeks and she started waking anytime between 1 - 4am for a feed and we then have to fight to get her back to sleep! I think it's 4mth sleep regression but it did coincide with the night we moved her into her own room

babybythesea · 01/08/2013 11:48

10.30/11.00pm until 6.00. Big feed in bed next to me, then sleeps again until about 10.30 am.
Sleeping during the day not predictable - sometimes she naps for several hours, other days she doesn't sleep at all and is overtired and scratchy by 9.00. But even on these days once she falls asleep at night, that's it for around seven or eight hours.

He's 17 weeks now but at 15 weeks he was waking up every 45mins/1 1/2 and had been since he learnt to roll at 14 weeks. He has now learnt to go back to sleep if he rolls on his front but if still only averaging 2/3 hours at a time. The most he has ever slept in one stretch is 4 hours and I think that has only happened a couple of times. Oh and he wakes for the day at 5.30am. I'm like a zombie.

Woopdedo · 01/08/2013 16:56

DD is 15 weeks and she started sleeping 7- 6.30/7 this week. Before that it was 5ish. It's just slowly crept up each week. Dreading the 4 month sleep regression if it indeed happens. She doesn't sleep a huge amount in the day though, won't nap in her cot really.

Havingkittens · 02/08/2013 21:49

Last few weeks have been really variable, depending on heat, jabs, growth spurts, type of day etc. At best - 10.30pm 'til 4am, then 4.45 -7am. At worst - 10.30 'til 1am, then every 90 mins to 2hrs. Average, every 2-3 hours.

I get so jealous of those 5hr at a time sleepers I keep reading about Envy

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 03/08/2013 02:03

Rubbish! Hmm

DS is 16 weeks and is still waking and feeding like a newborn through the night.

I can get him down (falling asleep on the boob) between 9 and 10 pm. He starts to get tired and grumpy from about 8pm but will not go to sleep any earlier than 9:30.

He'll then wake at some point between 12am and 2am for a feed. And then every two hours after that until 7am when he's wide awake. If I'm lucky he'll fall back to sleep for another hour or so after he's had a bit of a play and another feed.

He's had the random few days where he'll sleep 10pm to 5am and make me think that we've finally cracked it, but then he goes back again!

I'm so desperate for this to get better, as I'm now starting to struggle with the night feeds Hmm

My ds 14 weeks and sleeps from 10.30 til 6.30 usually however had and extra hour this morning, must know its Saturday lol! Throughout the really hot weather we ha had he did tend to wake up during night a few nights.

CityDweller · 04/08/2013 09:58

Oops - stupid phone. Start again...

My 15.5 wk old slept 8pm-5am from about 8wks until about 13.5 wks then it all went to pot. Started waking btw midnight and 2 for an extra feed. Past few nights have got worse - she's woken every 2 hrs Sad. Have no idea whether it's teething or sleep regression, but how I long for those blissful few weeks of sleeping through.

Ragwort · 04/08/2013 10:03

Long time ago now but my 15 week old slept from 7am until 1am (ish) had a feed and went back to sleep until about 6am.

Not popular but I used GF routine.

Ragwort · 04/08/2013 10:04

Ha ha - obviously meant 7pm.
