Suddenly farty almost-6m old DS - suggestions why??

My DS has never been one for bottom wind but the last 3/4 days has been doing really quite a lot of farts and I don't know why!

I only have 3 theories but no idea if they are actually the cause. Help!:

  1. He's bottle fed & the only thing done differently is that I changed him from an Avent 2 teat to a 3. But that was over a fortnight ago.
  1. Giving him new 6m+ dummies with a slightly larger teat.
  1. Tried to see if he was interested in food yet by offering a piece of banana. He mouthed it & a teeny bit was swallowed. Has this not agreed with him??

He might be taking in a bit more air with the bigger dummy and teats. He could also be gulping his milk a bit more. My little one also became more pumpy at this age. I think it might be their digestive system developing too.

Yeah I wondered that too as his poo (sorry tmi!) has changed colour a bit.
