2 1/2yo finding it hard to wind down for bed

Since summer time, it's all gone a bit pear shaped. Once she's asleep it's fine, slept through since 12m. But her and dd2 (14m) get over tired and find it hard to relax it may seem.

Dd use to go to bed willingly very happy. But since light changes and obviously getting older, learning more (she's very intelligent) its a bit harder. And they either want to jump around, or wrestle daddy!

What are your bedtime tips for toddlers

She's recently given up her dummy for bed about three weeks ago. Also very busy too so this may play part

I've just over come the same problem with my 3yo.

I made my DD a 7-day reward chart and told her that she'd get a sticker if she put herself to sleep (prob was demand into be stroked and sung to sleep) and that 5 nights out of 7 getting stickers meant a trip to the toy shop for a 'reward'.

Worked like a treat and we've been back to normal e we since!
