Hi
I don't know if anyone can help.
I am exclusively breastfeeding and until two nights ago my 8 week old baby was getting into a good routine of down at half 8, feed at 2 sometimes a feed at 4 and up at 7 or 8 however in the last two nights he has been up loads, tonight he went down at 10 and was up at 1,2,3,5 and 6 for a feed!!! Any advice on what to do? We did put him in his cot two nights ago as he liked stretching in his Moses basket and was getting a bit too big for it already
Thanks

You might get a quicker response if you post in the feeding section, but I will have a go at answering.

At 8 weeks feeding patterns are not generally set in stone, it may be a growth spurt which will settle down in a fe days if you go with the flow.

I know this isnt easy but what you do is feed on demand, sleep inbetween and very little else!

Hi
Thanks for the reply, its always hard not to think if something is a bit different that there is something wrong!

DS is 16 weeks and he still doesn't have a set waking pattern.
I can have a week where he'll sleep for 8 hours a night, then back to waking every two hours! Hmm

As said, it could be a growth spurt, or because of the warm weather your baby is thirsty and just wants a drink through the night.

Thanks for the reply, hopefully it is just one of those things or a growth spurt!!
