Dses age 8 and 4 have been staying over with their dad alternate weekends and one weeknight since april. They also visit exps mum every other saturday which has been happening since both were babies. I started work a few months ago and have sometimes required exp or his mum to help me out with childcare. Ds2 has started crying and saying he doesnt want to stay at his dads or grans when gran comes to collect even if gran is taking them to dads ( doesnt do it
with dad). He will whinge and moan and insist he hates his granny! And that he isnt going even with bribes of ice cream or seeing his cousins. Then shortly after she has left he will suddenly say he wants to go and has another meltdown if i say its too late to go now. Its happening nearly every time now and sometimes i have had to cancel work for him then to change his mind and say he will go and i have to drop him out or gran comes back for him.
I was hoping this was just a phase but it has been a few months now and no change. What do i do?
