Dear God - when does the human pinball in cot phase end?!

DTD is 5 months and rolling like a demon. Tricky enough in the daytime but she keeps waking herself up at night and roaring her head off. She wants to be asleep (and so do I!!) but she keeps waking herself.

I've got those air mesh bumpers but nada, still turns sideways and shouts.

How long please, before I lose the will to live entirely!

Ah, DD is just going through this phase. if possible, I tend to leave her for a few mins (as long a she's not too distressed) to see if she'll roll back over or, better still, get used to sleeping on her side or tummy. Although she's a little older (almost 9 months now) so not sure how comfortable you'd be with yours not being on their back still.

Sorry DSIS still slamed into the wall and woke me up when we were both teens.

She slept in one off those fleecy all in ones as a baby (long pre gro bags) because she careered round her cot, lost her covers and woke the entire house because she was cold.

Our DS1 did this and it drove me mad too!! But, as with most things, it is just a phase, honestly!! It will pass.

Hmm, we've had more than a week of it. I am tired! DTS is Now also in on the act and sleep crawling up the cot. I found him rocking on his forearms and knees last night. Arghhhh. I can't have two crawling 6mo babies who don't sleep. It's not fair!!!!!

Mine still rolls all over the place and he's 8 months old now. Find him in all odd positions, altho he does still sleep. Normally at the top of the cot, face down and bum in the air lol

Mine too CarlyRose80 . She usuallt ends up widthways on in the cot (despite not actually fitting this way). it's always interesting going up to see her after a nap to find out what weird and wonderful positions she's got herself into!

7mo still doing demon rolling...I will tuck her in grow bag & a sheet and she will still get out of it and roll around

Also going onto her knees and commando shuffle up the bed I am so used to being sleep deprived now I tendto just leave her uuntil she cries
