Anxiety in 3 year old

My dd has just recovered from a urinary tract infection which involved trips to hospital and it's been a tough week for her.She is continuing to rush to the loo every half hour, especially when she's nervous/anxious.When distracted she forgets and doesn't go but the slightest thing (someone phoning or calling round)and she's off upstairs to the loo.
Does anyone have any advice? We're going to try ignoring it instead of mentioning the frequent trips in the hope she gets out of the habit.
She has been on the medicine for long enough for it to be working now(as the hospital said)and shouldn't be going this much.
Thanks in advance.
