"I'm not going in the stroller" phase.

Twins have recently turned 10mo and DtS2 is officially a walker only now he keeps refusing to go in the stroller and throws a fit when you put him in it recently he's learnt the "if I go stiff you have no chance" move. We invested in little life reins which are great but 10 minute journeys now take 20!

I wouldn't mind but now it's set off his brother who isn't as confident as walking and gets confused easily by obstiacles(can't spell today!) (other stollers etc) and refuses the boba 2.

They only want the stroller when they're tired. Anyone feel my pain? Haha.

Oh yes I remember well trying to fold mines into the buggies and car seats!

No helpful advice except this too shall pass...Grin

I used to either set off early and let mine walk, or if they had to be in the stroller then lift their feet in the air. It forces them to bend in the middle and its easier to strap them in. Now mines a bit older I practically have to kneel on her to get her in!

Yes - I remember dd doing the "plank". I would give her a snack or something to distract her then quickly in before she knew what was happening. There was no way I was walking down the street, half bent trying to herd a walking baby with a toddler in tow too. She gets plenty of walking practise in the park - now she's older (19 months), she's very good. I did the same with her brother.

We tried snacks and once he's fastened in the stroller. He screams, his screams are really high pitched like wail, it pierces the eardrums. So I'd rather have him walking and calm than setting off his brother.

It's all back breaking stuff this walking business, memories of previous dc are flooding back, DD used to constantly do the "plank" more - I secretly think she's passing on her secrets haha. I'm also PG so it's no good on my back. Urgh, hope it passes soon.
