Late crawler- when to worry?

How late is too late?

DD is 14mo and kind of moves in a sitting position by reaching for things just out of reach. She's looked like she's just about to crawl for months now.

So, when should we worry?

My DTs didn't crawl at all - never. DTG would lie on her back and kind of push herself along using her heels. DTB went from sitting to cruising with nothing in between. They both walked at 15 months.

I don't think its a "step" like sitting or walking is - some babies crawl, some babies don't. I'd worry if she doesn't start cruising / walking in the next few months, but I wouldn't worry about crawling at all.

thank you for the reassurance!

So, it's walking we should be looking out for.
